Some interesting points and statistics that were presented by the panel include:

  • 83% of enterprises plan to move workloads back to private Cloud from public Cloud to address costs, data security, regulatory compliance, and a desire for greater control over infrastructure
  • Compliance standards and requirements are something you need to be mindful of, customers can sometimes forget their own mandates, which can put their operations at risk by not meeting regulatory benchmarks
  • Bundling may be the name of the game, making services you offer stickier for the client – they don’t want to deal with numerous people, which can give Partners like you a higher percentage of their IT spend
  • New Cloud spend won’t always be less than the current spend, considerations like performance and compatibility expectations may prompt the change
