Before you can land big, complex, CX deals, or introduce a few implementations as your foot in the door, you need to be able to articulate what CX is and the options available to your client’s organization. Simply put, CX (Customer Experience) is the perception created when interacting with an organization or brand across all touchpoints– empowering employees, embracing customers, and giving organizations greater visibility/capabilities for oversight, management, and informed decision-making.

The “Learn How CX Will Revolutionize Your Clients’ Businesses” breakout session at the 2024 Sandler Partners National Summit was moderated by CX practice lead Ben Edwards, Director of Sales Engineering, West. He was joined on stage by Jeremy Smith, Solutions Engineer with Infobip; Michael Spartz, Director, Partner Sales at NICE; Brian Mason, Channel Manager – Southwest for Sinch; and Aqeel Shahid, VP Global Strategic Partnerships with VONAGE to discuss this growing opportunity area!

A few highlights included:

  • Over the past year, CX has trended toward AI (Artificial Intelligence) implementations and application integrations, with engagements driven by cost savings and revenue growth
  • Your CX conversations should focus on business applications, be influenced by data, integrate with the organization’s operational and marketing platforms, and communicate with customers in the channels they prefer, like social and online chat
  • Successful Partners exercise a sales process, engage with their Sandler Partners resources (Channel Manager, Sales Engineer, and Sandler Portal sales tools), and take the time to understand stakeholders and align to both what matters to end-customers and meets business goals
  • Businesses aren’t making decisions based on price-based quotes; they’re making decisions based on business objectives like customer engagement, reduced costs, or increased revenue

This covers just a small part of the conversation, the panelists reviewed use cases, specific solutions, and case studies of deals that Partners have closed – including one large engagement by a Partner who had never sold CX before! Listen in on the whole conversation, see the numbers, and learn how you too could be selling CX today by watching the full session recording. Don’t forget to follow up with your Channel Manager or dedicated Sales Engineer afterward, they are always ready to provide answers to any of your questions!

The Sandler Partners National Summit

The annual Sandler Partners National Summit is the largest independent technology community channel event held each year. It brings together Partners from across the US and Canada – influential leaders, and Providers  – sharing information on solutions, selling approaches, and personal development. The atmosphere is always energetic, reinforcing the family “safe home” reputation Sandler Partners has developed over two decades. While other TSDs may focus on private equity plays, Sandler Partners continues to help solve problems that encourage trust, deeper long-term customer relationships, and ultimately success.
